CRESSING PARISH COUNCILFREE Skate Jam celebration event
The newly enhanced Ramsey Road Recreational Ground in Halstead is now open for family-fun and fitness, with a new state of the art skatepark, an expanded play area with accessible equipment for young children, relaxing hammocks for older children, and a modern outdoor gym.
The project was guided by extensive community engagement including focus groups to ensure the new facilities met the needs of residents of all ages.
Working in partnership with local volunteers, businesses and organisations, a Skate Jam event will be hosted on Saturday 24 August from 2pm to 6pm, featuring live music, talented demonstrations and skate and BMX sessions for the community to get involved in.
