The Essex County Council (Various Roads, Silver End) (20mph Speed Zone) Order 2022
Notice is hereby given that Essex County Council has made the above Order under Sections 84(1) (a) and (2) and Part III of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order: To introduce a 20mph Zone on the following lengths of roads in the District of Braintree

Casement Drive |
From a point approximately 5 metres northeast from its junction with Boars Tye Road for its entire length. |
Fenestra Way

From its junction with Casement Drive in a south easterly direction for its entire length. |
Fenestra Way
|
From its junction with Casement Drive in a south western direction for its entire length |
Dormer Drive
|
From its junction with Road 3 in a north easterly direction for its entire length |
Dormer Drive
|
From its junction with Casement Drive in a north westerly then north easterly direction for its entire length |
Date of operation: The Order will come into operation on 25 July 2022

Documents can be made available for inspection 8.30am-5.30pm Mon-Thurs and 8.30am-5pm on Friday at Essex County Council, County Hall E block main reception, Market Road, Chelmsford.
Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order of any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.
